PUBLIC HEARING
Steve and Jean Edley – 1064 State Route
48, Fulton
Tax Map # 253.04-01-05.2
Chairman French opened the Hearing at 7:00 pm and asked the
applicant to explain the reason for the Area Variance request. The applicants stated that they would like to
build a 24’x30’ garage on their property 40’ from the pavement edge of State
Route 48 which encroaches on the required front setback dimension by 10’. They explained that to move it the additional
10’ would require them to remove many trees which they would like to keep, and
require fill due to the slope of the property – an added expense or
hardship. The area sited for the garage
is level and dry, it is also their current turnaround area. The Board Members had little comment and without
further discussion, the Public Hearing was closed at 7:06 pm by Chairman
French.

The Regular meeting was opened at 7:06 pm.
STEVE AND JEAN EDLEY
- Without any further discussion from the Board Members a motion was moved by Member Patricia Simmons and
seconded by Member Tom Thompson to
accept the Area Variance request of 10’ for the front yard setback dimension in
connection to the proposed garage on property
located at 1064 State Route 48, Fulton, tax map# 253.04-01-05.2 is hereby GRANTED
with the following express conditions: NONE.

TRAINING – Chairman
French asked the secretary to schedule a time for Town Attorney Scott Chatfield
to hold a training session to satisfy the state mandated training requirement
of 4 hours. Weeknights are preferred
but let Mr. Chatfield’s schedule dictate the scheduling.
MINUTES
A motion to
approve the meeting minutes with minor corrections for January 13, 2015 was moved by Member Peter LeoGrande and
seconded by Member Tom Thompson, all were in favor, motion carried.
With no other business before the Board a motion to
adjourn at 7:11 pm was moved by Member
Peter LeoGrande and seconded by Member Patricia Simmons, all were in favor, motion carried.
