TOWN OF GRANBY
PUBLIC WORK SESSION
MAY 24, 2017

CALL TO ORDER
Supervisor
Williamson called the meeting to order at 6:05 P.M. Present for the roll call were Supervisor Ed Williamson, Councilors Eric Clothier,
Tracy Doyle, Melissa Fortier and Lori Thrall.
Deputy Supervisor John Snow Jr. was also present. There were 7 Residents and Guests in
attendance.
The
Board shared the EDU list they have been working on for Water Service Area 7
with Engineer Doug Miller. They will be
reviewing this list for final approval. Mr.
Miller then reported to the Board that the Environmental Report for Water
Service Area 7 is almost done. He
advised the Board that they should have the Attorney present when the SEQR determination
is done. There is a Notice of Intent for
Ag & Markets that will have to be signed by Supervisor Williamson.
Councilor
Clothier made a motion, seconded by Councilor Fortier to allow Supervisor
Williamson to sign the Notice of Intent for Ag & Markets, all were in
favor, none opposed.
COMMUNICATIONS AND
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Supervisor
Williamson announced Highway Superintendent Richards has submitted his letter
of Resignation effective May 31, 2017.
Supervisor
Williamson received correspondence from the Tobacco Network of NY asking if the
Town needed any smoke free signs.
Deputy
Supervisor Snow Jr. reviewed the Investment and Deposits Policy and Procedures with
the Board.
Councilor
Doyle made a motion, seconded by Councilor Clothier to re-affirm the Investment
Policy as written, all were in favor, none opposed.

MOTIONS AND
RESOLUTIONS
Councilor
Thrall made a motion, seconded by Councilor Fortier that the Court Fiscal
Records were audited for the year 2016, Supervisor Williamson and Councilor
Fortier were in favor, Councilor Clothier abstained.
Councilor
Doyle made a motion, seconded by Councilor Fortier to hold a Special Meeting on
June 1, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. to appoint an interim Highway Superintendent, all
were in favor, none opposed.
PAYMENT OF TOWN BILLS
Councilor
Doyle made a motion, seconded by Councilor Thrall to pay the Town Bills as
audited on Abstract #10, all were in favor, none opposed.
