TOWN OF GRANBY
BUDGET WORKSHOP
OCTOBER 24, 2016
5:30 P.M.
Supervisor
Williamson called the meeting to order at 5:38 P.M. Supervisor Ed Williamson, Councilors Eric
Clothier, Tracy Doyle and Melissa Fortier were present. Deputy Supervisor/Budget Officer John Snow
Jr. was also present. There were no
Residents in attendance.
The
Following changes were made to the Tentative Budget by the Board.
Increase
the Programs for the Aging line item from $750.00 to $3,000.00.
The Justice
salaries will increase to $25,200.00 ($12,600 each)
The
Budget Officer/Deputy Supervisor/Historian salary will increase by $2,500.00
The
Town Clerk salary will increase by $2,500.00.
The
Board will do a re-evaluation of Office Position hourly rates that will include
some new stipulations.
Salaried
Positions will receive a 2% increase.
Highway
Superintendent salary will remain the same.
The Assessor’s
salary will remain the same and the Board discussed inviting Assessor Roach to
the next Board meeting.
Councilor
Clothier made a motion, seconded by Councilor Doyle, to adjourn the meeting,
all were in favor, none opposed.
